Job Description

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for creating, executing, and managing social media strategies and campaigns that promote the company&#;s overall goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies and campaigns that align with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
  • Create engaging content for social media platforms, including written, visual, and multimedia content.
  • Manage social media accounts, including creating and scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to inquiries and comments.
  • Monitor social media trends, best practices, and competitors to identify opportunities and potential challenges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop social media campaigns that support business objectives, such as lead generation and customer acquisition.
  • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of social media campaigns and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media tools, trends, and platforms to ensure that the company’s social media presence remains relevant and effective.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with social media influencers, partners, and other stakeholders to expand the company’s social media reach.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or a related field.
    At least 2-3 years of experience in social media marketing or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and best practices, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create engaging content and communicate with various stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in using social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or Buffer.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
